The breakthrough Brit sensation will sing in the prestigious venue next year…

His stirring single Human is the perfect blend of pop and blues – which is why it’s gained 411 million views on YouTube – and Rag’n’Bone Man, aka Rory Graham, will play a one-night-only show in Dubai Opera on Friday March 23 next year.

We can imagine that his gravelly, heartfelt voice will sound like gritty perfection in the acoustically fine-tuned venue:

Graham won two BRIT Awards this year – he won Critics’ Choice and the Best British Breakthrough Act –  and his Dubai Opera performance will be part of his European tour.

His voice is phenomenal, and we imagine it will be incredibly affecting live, here’s proof:

Graham grew up imitating blues legend Muddy Waters at home, and at 15 he started rapping in his hometown of Uckfield, but was also encouraged by his dad to start putting his pipes to use at local blues nights, which saw him start to gain fans and create his unique sound.

He spent years on the musical fringes – as both a rapper and a blues singer – until finding his big break last year.

We really hope he sings a cappella and mic’ free on the night too (as Rufus Wainwright did during his Dubai Opera performance last week – which was a definite highlight):

Tickets for the Dubai Opera show start from Dhs195, and there’s 20% off Fan Pit, Platinum and VIP tickets until 5pm December 24. You can buy your tickets here now.
