How awesome is this?

These days, it’s very rare to be asked to take someone’s picture for them. Why interact with humans when you have a selfie stick, right?

Well, one couple bucked the trend when they approached none other than HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and asked him to capture a special moment.

His brother, Sheikh Mansoor, has posted a throwback photo to Instagram which shows the royal in the popular tourist destination of Queenstown, New Zealand, in 2015.

By the look of things, the couple asked Sheikh Hamdan if they wouldn’t mind taking their photo in the picturesque spot. And it seems the down-to-earth royal was only too happy to oblige.

Dressed in his casual clothes, it’s unlikely the pair had any idea who their photographer was – as far as they knew, he was just a fellow tourist.

“Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give,” Sheikh Mansoor captioned the photo.

How cool! Sheikh Hamdan, if we ever bump into you in Dubai, would you mind helping us out with our Burj Khalifa snap? We always struggle to get the angle right…
