June 8: Go on a snow hike

From June 14: Let football fever takeover

The biggest football event on the planet is back on June 15. June 16: Feel the burn with the Dubai Desert Run

It’s one of the UAE’s oldest running events, and the Dubai Desert Run is back on Saturday June 16 for the summer scorcher. There are both 10km and 3km routes to test your legs on, on private, traffic-free roads.

June TBC: Party at the opening of a new nightclub

 The next piece in the Soho Garden puzzle, Toyroom is opening imminently in the indoor section of the Meydan super complex. The London concept initially arrived in Dubai in 2015, taking up residency in the Al Murooj Rotana, but it closed its doors at the end of 2017. It’s expected to open towards the end of the month.

June 20: See two piano stars at Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera is set to host Croatian stars Bruno Vlahek and Dubravka Vukalovic on Wednesday June 20 as their season of live entertainment kickstarts again. The European duo are known for playing one piano at the same time.

June 29 and 30: Cool off with the season closing of a luxury beach club
