No less than 12 cuisines are on offer across 8 restaurants at the expansive space…

Back in May we brought you news that celebrity chef Todd English was bringing his popular Food Hall concept to Dubai, and now we can reveal it’s opening its doors today in the Dubai Mall.

Covering an impressive 12,000 square feet, there’s no less than 12 open kitchens inside, serving food from eight different sub-restaurants.

Advertising that it will serve ’12 menus from every culinary capital in the world’, Todd English Food Hall has one large seating area that is serviced by all the restaurants, with a super-sized menu covering all the restaurants available to be ordered from.

So what cuisines are actually inside?

Well, there’s a pretty solid attempt at covering all those culinary capitals. For something lighter, Greenery is an upscale salad counter, the aptly named Noodle serves up an array of Asian dishes, while a second serving of Kishmish, already operating in Dar Wasl Mall, offers authentic Afghan dishes.

A Todd English twist on Levantine cuisine is available from Mezza House, classic Italian dishes can be found at Figs, and for prime cuts of meat, top burgers and all-American BBQ dishes, head to Chop House and Pound. Blue Zoo, a seafood restaurant, completes the line-up.

The food hall is the third of its kind, following the openings of the first Food Hall in New York, and the second in Manila, Phillipinnes. English also has several restaurant chains including Olives, which opened in Abu Dhabi back in 2015.

Fancy heading down and seeing the famous chef for yourself? He’s currently in town for the opening, so be sure to be quick…
