Fans of illusion and trickery are in for a treat this September as the world’s biggest Museum of Illusions is opening in Dubai’s Al Seef district next month.

With no less than 80 exhibits of all shapes and sizes, Museum of Illusions Dubai will boast an impressive collection of optical illusions that museum-goers will be able to experience and interact with.

So, what can we expect inside?

Well the full line-up of exhibits is being kept tightly under wraps until the grand opening on September 12. However, the museum creators have promised interactive exhibitions including a Vortex Tunnel, a rotating cylinder and an Ames Room, where guests will shrink or grow depending on their position in the exhibition. That sounds like a perfect ‘gram pic to us…

“Museum of Illusions Dubai exhibits have been carefully selected to ensure the widest possible appeal to the city’s uniquely cosmopolitan residents and international tourists,” said Varvara Svischeva, Manager, Museum of Illusions Dubai.

“We pride ourselves on being a destination for all ages and this is reflected in the diversity of exhibits and the overall experience,” she added.

The first museum opened in the Croatian capital of Zagreb in 2015, with a further  six further Museum of Illusions opening their doors in the years following.
