Occidental IMPZ Dubai will offer 239 guest rooms, six restaurants, five meeting rooms and two pools…

There’s going to be a new hotel to check out in Production City from next month, as the Occidental IMPZ opens its doors.

Designed for the business traveler, it’s situated close to the Expo 2020 site (which you can see here is taking shape nicely) and thirty minutes from the airport.

Inside the hotel, you’ll find 239 guest rooms split between two towers. There will also be five meeting rooms, a conference area and a ballroom designed for hosting large functions and events.

For leisure, there’s going to be two expansive swimming pools, as well as a modern fitness centre. Beauty and spa services will also be available.

The hotel brand, which originates from Spain, will bring six more restaurants and bars to the area, with a heavy Spanish focus. An all day dining restaurant and coffee shop will service day-to-day dining, with a tapas sports bar, pool bar, rooftop shisha lounge and fusion Spanish and Lebanese restaurant completing the line-up.

It’s the third hotel by Spanish hospitality group Barcelo in the region. It joins Barceló Residences Dubai Marina and Occidental Sharjah Grand, with a fourth property Barceló Al Jadaf set to open in June 2019.
