In a statement released to national news agency WAM, Khalifa bin Deray, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services said that the app will help save the lives of people with chronic diseases and those suffering from heart attacks and strokes.

This is achieved by supporting volunteer paramedics in guiding them to patients as quickly as possible via a map that identifies the location of patients and their issues.

The initiative is currently in its experimental stage and is part of the HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Programme for the Smart Government 2018.
