Sponsored: The new Mercedes A-Class was made for Dubai…

Living in Dubai, many of us spend more time than we’d care to admit behind the wheel. But if you want a car that you’ll look forward to hanging out with, then you need to know about the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class.

It’s more than just a car – it’s your new best friend. How? Thanks to a little feature called MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), you can actually SPEAK to your vehicle. It’s designed to listen to you as if you were having a casual conversation, rather than specific voice commands. All you have to say is “Hey Mercedes”, and it will totally get you.

Watch how it works here:

How cool is that? That’s the great thing about the new A-Class – there are so many features that let you make it your own. Like the ambient light system that gives you 64 different colours to choose from. Or the fact that you can connect your car with your smartphone, and use it remotely to do everything from checking your tank fill level to making sure you’ve locked the doors.

What’s more, the new A-Class is ideal for Dubai’s often challenging driving conditions. There’s a suite of safety features, including active braking assist, which can help prevent accidents due to insufficient distance or driver distraction. Basically, the car can let you know if you’re about to collide with the vehicle in front of you.

Then there’s the augmented reality satellite navigation system. The media display will show you a video image of your surroundings, with helpful navigation information superimposed, like arrows – so you can be sure you’re heading in the right direction. You’ll never take the wrong exit again.

We also love the sound of the active parking assist feature, which not only helps you find a parking space, but can even steer you perfectly into the tightest of spots. We reckon that alone would take half the stress out of driving in Dubai…

If you’re in the market for a luxury small car, you can’t go past the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class – and priced from Dhs120,000, it’s not going to break the bank. To find out more and to book your test drive, visit Mercedes-Benz Middle East.
