The fitness festival is set to be even bigger this year…

Remember last year’s inaugural Dubai Fitness Challenge, the event that inspired Dubai residents to commit to 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days?

Well, it’s set to make its return. It’s just been announced the fitness initiative launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, will run from October 19 to November 17.

Just like last year, there will be a whole host of activities you can take part in – walking, team sports, paddle-boarding, yoga, cycling and more. But this year, organisers’ goals are even more lofty. It is hoped that over one million people will take part, making Dubai the most active city in the world.

So, how can you get involved? The full line-up will be revealed in early October, which is also when you’ll be able to register on the Dubai Fitness App. For more information, you can visit the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website.

In the meantime, here’s a photo of the Crown Prince being super sporty at a Spartan Race to get you inspired.
