MICRO MUTEK returns to three venues across the city from October 14 to 19…

Digital art and electronic music festival MICRO MUTEK is set to return to Dubai this month. The digitally focused festival will run from October 14 to 19 and take place across Dubai World Trade Centre, Stereo Arcade and Dubai Knowledge Park Amphitheatre.

Described as an ‘intersection of music, art and innovative technology’, it’s the second time the festival has headed to Dubai, after launching in November 2017.

For 2018, the festival will kick off with ‘Hemisphere 141’ from October 14 to 17 at Dubai World Trade Centre. As well as the unveiling of a tri-dimensional, high definition dome, there will be performances by Sote & Tarik Barri as well as Electronic music producer, A Guy Called Gerald. On October 18 and 19, it’s the turn of Nocturne 1 & 2. Promising live performances and immersive musical experiences, it will take place at Stereo Arcade, and offer a unique take on clubbing-style events. A full line-up and tickets will be released soon.

Following this, Dubai Knowledge Park’s Amphitheatre see’s Michaela Pelusio take to the stage, as part of A/Visions on 19 October. Armed with her signature eclectic audiovisual experiences incorporating space, light, matter and sound, the show creates the sensation of being present in an environment of magic. Best of all entry to Dubai Knowledge Park’s Amphitheatre will be free of charge.
