Sponsored: Expect special cocktails, homemade gin fusions and a gin trolley where you can pimp your G&T…

Marina eatery The Scene by Simon Rimmer is bringing its three months of themed summer festivals to a close this month. But fear not – they’ve saved the best until last, with a celebration of all things gin throughout October.

Aptly named Simon’s Gin-asium, the month-long celebrations will feature a limited edition of special cocktails, unique, homemade gin infusions, gin-inspired bites and even a gin trolley where you can pimp your G&T.

Priced from Dhs39, The Scene has introduced a unique menu of gin-based cocktails, which includes a kiwi and cucumber based ‘Kiwi Go Again’ and the ‘Ruby Ruby Rhubarb’, a mix of rhubarb, vanilla and beefeater gin.

Feeling peckish? There’s a menu for that, too. The G&T (that stands for gin and tapas) menu features dishes designed to be paired with gin-based beverages, including smoked salmon bruschetta, garlic prawns with grilled sourdough and curried mussels.

But you won’t just be able to enjoy the gin festival in the leafy indoor botanical garden. After a summer hiatus, The Scene’s stunning outdoor terrace is throwing its doors open once again, where you’ll be able to enjoy picture-perfect Marina views alongside expertly crafted gin-based beverages.

We know where we’ll be enjoying a post-work sundowner this month…
