Take a free sunset yoga class at La Mer

Head to La Mer this evening to take part in a free sunset yoga session on the beach. Moksha yoga is a unique hot yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga. The class is suitable for all levels – including absolute beginners. Plus, you’ll get a free iced tea or iced coffee at Le Pain Quotidien afterwards. BYO yoga mat.

See Sean Paul at Cavalli Club

Jamaican rapper Sean Paul is making a special appearance at Cavalli Club tonight for a special edition of their Midnight Brunch. You can watch the Get Busy star perform while enjoying one of two packages: the Midnight Brunch package, which is priced at Dhs350 and runs from 8pm to midnight with free-flowing drinks and a set brunch menu, or for Dhs300, you can make the most of an open bar from 11pm to 3am.

Enjoy a special Diwali set menu by a celebrity chef

Celebrate the festival of lights at the stylish Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant at The Canvas Hotel Dubai – MGallery by Sofitel. The Indian celebrity chef has come up with a special set menu called the ‘Rajwada Bhog’ for Dhs139, which includes dishes like tandoori sous vide pesto prawns, parmesan chicken tikka dome, and rumani aloo methi among other mains. Desserts like pistachio kulfi falooda and saffron bhapa doi will also be on offer.

Tuck into some delicious tacos

Lively Madinat Jumeirah spot Tortuga hosts a weekly Taco Tuesday night. From 7pm to 11pm, the Mexican restaurant offers all-you-can-eat tacos for Dhs110 per person – and trust us, they’re some of the best you’ll find in the city. We also recommend ordering some of the traditional guacamole – it’s made tableside, and it’s seriously good.

Check out a brand new ladies’ night

Trendy Al Seef eatery Kim’s Singapore Seafood is launching a ladies’ night tonight; the rather cheekily named ‘Kim’s Buns’. From 8pm to 2am, ladies will receive three drinks coupons that can be use on special cocktails, house red, white and rose, and mocktails. You’ll also enjoy a 20 per cent discount on food – all guests can make the most of this one, as long as there’s a female diner at the table.

Wednesday November 7

Watch a free fireworks display

Dubai is set to light up for Diwali with a spectacular fireworks display this evening. Head to Al Seef at 8.30pm, and you’ll not only be able to enjoy the fireworks show, but also the city’s first official diya (clay lamp) lighting ceremony. There will also be Diwali-themed performances, and a Diwali market.

Enjoy unlimited Korean BBQ

Love Korean BBQ?
