Cross Cultural Perks will be there for you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week…

On popular TV show Friends, Central Perk coffee shop was the centre of many of the shows major scenes – and now a very similar one is headed to Dubai.

Cross Cultural Perks Cafe & Bistro will open this month in the Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa in Al Fahidi and promises interiors inspired by the 90s hit TV show.

The venue is promising ‘a friendly, comfortable, authentic cultural vibe; where friends come to meet’. We can only hope for Phoebe-inspired solo sets and Gunther-style service once it opens.

Open 24 hours seven days a week, the menu offers an array of healthy Emirate and Western a la carte dishes from breakfast until late night. Expect typical cafe dishes such as sandwiches, salads, burgers, and pies. There will also be Indian dishes and Asian delicacies, as well as Emirati signatures made with camel meat. We’re pretty sure that wouldn’t have been on the Central Perk menu….

Cross Cultural Perks boasts both indoor and outdoor seating, and promises free WiFi, live sports and a fully licensed bar serving everything from coffee to cocktails.

“We are very excited to open and showcase this inspired concept café to relax or recharge, build a conversation, or to get connected,” said Habib Khan, the CEO of the hospitality management company behind the opening. “We’re confident that it will complement and contribute positively to the Al Seef cultural vicinity and provide the community with not only a community-centered café but offering quality coffee but a cross-cultural dining diversity and friendly artisan atmosphere.”

We. Can’t. Wait.
