Fans can get a taste of what’s to come on Thursday evening…

It’s already caused excitement among musical fans in the UAE, and to celebrate tickets going on sale for Phantom of the Opera at Dubai Opera, the Burj Khalifa is set to light up with a special show on Thursday January 31, (that’s tomorrow).

For one night only, the world’s most popular musical will light up the world’s tallest building for one night only, promising a bespoke audio-visual show.

Fancy checking it out, you’ll need to head down around 7.30pm, for a 7.50pm show.

Phantom of the Opera will make its Middle Eastern debut at Dubai Opera on October 16 2019, and will run until October 30. Tickets will go on sale at 8am on Thursday January 31, and will be priced from Dhs250.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius known only as ‘The Phantom’ who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerised by the talents and beauty of a young soprano – Christine, the Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul, the Phantom’s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness and passions collide.
