It’s showing films such as Home Alone and Frozen over the next few days…

Heading Downtown over the next few days? You might want to know about Downtown Eats then, a pop-up food festival currently taking place.

Found just by the Address Downtown, Downtown Eats has taken over a green patch on the Boulevard, and turned it into a pop-up cinema and food truck filled hidden gem, laden with cushy bean bags, perfect for catching a film al fresco.

But you’ll need to be quick if you want to make it to one of the free films, as the schedule advertised is only until Monday.

So what can you see?

Well, The Emoji Movie shows tonight, Sunday January 13 at 6pm, followed by Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Long Haul at 8pm, and Guardians of the Galaxy at 10pm. Then tomorrow on Monday January 14, the outdoor cinema will show Frozen at 6pm, Home Alone at 8pm, and finish with Captain America Civil War at 10pm.

There’s also a bunch of food trucks to keep you fueled up including a German bratwurst grill, Smart Brat; Asian inspired sandwich shop, Hooked; healthy eatery, Boston Lane; Polish inspired, Zapie Kanka and Frings, Canadian style Fries & Wings.

You’ll find it just opposite The Dubai Mall, near Address Downtown, so it also comes with prime views of the Burj Khalifa laser show if you head down at night. Don’t know where we mean? Here it is on Google Maps.
