But Jonas Blue has been drafted in to replace her!

British singer Jess Glynne will no longer perform at RedFest DXB tonight at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. The Brit star took to Instagram to apologise for the last-minute change in schedule, which means she can no longer make the concert on Thursday February 14.

“To all my fans in Dubai! I am really sorry and disappointed that I won’t be able to see you at Virgin Radio’s RedFest DXB. Last minute changes in my schedule have meant that there is no way for me to make it to you” Glynne began the post.

“Please understand this isn’t something I take lightly and I promise you I will come back and do a show for you as soon as I can. All the love in the world xx” the post ended.

But it’s not all bad news. RedFest DXB organisers took to social media to announce that while they’re ‘gutted that Jess Glynne is unable to perform’, the festival is ‘stoked’ that DJ Jonas Blue will take her place.

Born and raised in London, the multi-instrumentalist is known for his tunes which blend dance music with pop sensibilities.

You might know him best as the DJ behind the earworm that is Fast Car, which reached number one in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand.

That means the line-up for day one of the festival will be Jonas Blue, G-Eazy and DJ Snake, followed by Camilla Cabello, Macklemore and Jax Jones on day two.

The news comes on the same day that American rapper Pitbull was also forced to cancel his appearance in Dubai, also scheduled for this evening.

Citing a flight issue, Pitbull took to Twitter to apologise to fans saying that “we tried our hardest to get over to Dubai, so I want to say I’m sorry, I deeply apologise and look forward to seeing you guys and thank you always for the love and support”.

The Timber hitmaker was scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2019 edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) at 8pm tonight, Thursday February 14 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
