Don’t let the weather rain on your parade (or plans)…

The weekend is almost here and if you’re making plans with how to fill it in the UAE, we’re here to make sure the weather doesn’t rain on your parade (or your plans).

After a showery afternoon across parts of Dubai yesterday, Wednesday March 6, residents woke to a clear but slightly cloudy day across the UAE on Thursday March 7.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), we can expect a partly cloudy afternoon on Thursday, but warn that moderate winds across the sea may cause blowing dust along costal areas.

Temperatures are set to reach highs of 26 degrees in Dubai, with lows as chilly as 15 degrees expected overnight in some emirates.

On Friday, it’s set to be a better day with some partly cloudy spells, but otherwise a pleasant, sunny day for most of the UAE. Keep an eye out if you’re planning on heading to the sea, as the waves could get rough along parts of the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.

The forecast doesn’t look so good on Saturday. The far north of the UAE should expect some rainfall, while the rest of the country will face cloudy skies for most of the day. The NCM also warns of very rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea, with fresh winds also causing blowing dust across the coast.
