The brand new: Havana Social Club

Inspired by 1920s Cuba, Havana Social Club aims to take guests back to a glamorous time of jazz-filled nights and smoky cabaret clubs of the prohibition era in Havana. On the menu, guests can expect a mix of Cuban bites, cocktails inspired by recipes from the 1920s, live music sessions and a curated Cuban cigar collection. On Thursday nights, Havana Social Club hosts ‘Alma Latina’ – a ladies night offering three hours of complimentary wine and cocktails from 8pm to 11pm, served up to live music. It’s time to fiesta.

Havana Social Club, Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai, Monday to Saturday 1pm to 1am. Tel: (04) 556 6466. caesars.com/dubai

The new menu: Streetery

JLT’s homegrown Asian food hall Streetery is one of our favourite spots for authentic, cheap eats inspired by dishes from Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. Head down this weekend, and you’ll be able to check out the brand new menu items on offer at two restaurants; Zen Dubai and Hing Kee. At Zen Dubai, feast on new quinoa dishes and pan fried quinoa or tuck into popular Asian BBQ dishes such as chicken satay and hainanese chicken rice with a choice of new side salad. The new salads are all paleo and keto friendly ,providing customers with a well-balanced and healthy meal.

Well, then you need to head to Miss Tess, who have just launched two new menus; one for vegan dishes and one for gluten free. There’s over 30 dishes on the vegan menu and over 20 on the gluten free menu, and dishes include tofu teriyaki, maki rolls on the vegan menu, while you’ll be treated to chicken teriyaki and sweet and sour prawns if you’re gluten free. It’s all served up to the usual array of interactive live entertainment.
