There’s nothing better than getting up early and heading to an outdoor market…
There’s only a matter of weeks left to enjoy Dubai’s outdoor markets. Yes, we might be in the middle of the desert, but Dubai has a thriving farmer’s market scene where you can pick up deliciously fresh, locally sourced produce (among other treats). Here are four top markets you’ll be able to check out this weekend.
1. Ripe Market
The always popular Ripe Market is moving indoors on May 3, with a brand new location to boot. This is the market’s final weekend of the season at Dubai Police Academy Park in Umm Suqeim. The market will then move to Dubai Festival City mall and continue to take place every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 7pm, featuring a farmer’s market and food trucks, plus arts, crafts and workshops, as well as yoga, live music and heaps of other activities.

2. Dubai Flea Market, various locations
Dubai Flea Market is the most authentic no-frills market in Dubai, where you can find all kinds of weird and wonderful unique items every weekend. The market moves from location to location each week, but usually within a public park. The next market on Friday April 26 will be at Al Barsha Pond Park from 11am.
