The world’s first MasterChef-themed restaurant is opening its doors in Dubai Marina next week.

From April 30, guests will be able to dine at Masterchef, the TV experience in the new Millennium Place Marina Hotel.

Lead by head chef Margarita Vaamonde-Beggs, the menu will feature 36 dishes curated from a selection of more than 120 recipes created by champions and finalists from the MasterChef TV show.

As well as an array of starters, main courses will be split into Meat & Poultry, Seafood and Vegetarian dishes. Mains include a Venison loin rubbed with chilli and coffee created MasterChef US 2016 Champion Shaun O’Neale, as well as Fried chicken waffles with Southeast Asian salad and Australian beef Wagyu tenderloin with carrot purée.  Seafood options include MasterChef UK 2017 champion Salina Mahmood Ahmed’s Seabass fillet baked in lavash bread, as well as O’Neale’s Seared scallops with kohlrabi purée.

Guests can also opt for the ‘Mystery Box’ dinner experience. A popular part of the TV show, guests who opt for the Mystery Box option can pick their choice of five ingredients from 10 options consisting of a mix of proteins vegetables and condiments. Then they’ll hand these over to the culinary team and challenge them to make a personalised meal to life within 35 minutes.

Including a starter to share while guests wait, the ‘Mystery Box’ is priced at Dhs300 for two or Dhs600 for four.

Offering indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant has been modeled on the set of the MasterChef TV, with the restaurant open for bookings from Tuesday April 30.
