This weekend, experience a brunch like no other as #DXBExperiments takes you on a musical journey through the decades. From Wednesday May 1 to Friday May 3, pick a seat at the dinner table where each course is paired with, not only a creative cocktail, but also an era of music.

Start with the 1960s and the icon that is Aretha Franklin, and dine your way through the decades to finish with legendary band Nirvana in the 1990s. Transport back to an era where music meant more than plugging in your Airpods and switching off from the world, to a time where music shaped the generation.

Taking place at Weslodge Saloon, JW Marriott Marquis, the venue will be transformed into an interactive gallery, with a pop-up studio, allowing guests to become the superstar they were born to be. Complete with a whiskey tasting room, the brunch promises to link each hand-crafted cocktail to a musical moment.

On the menu, expect to find an array of delectable sharing dishes including raw and fry yellow tail and southern fried chicken, whole sea bass fillet, Australian wagyu tenderloin and spice-rubbed lamb ribs. Indulge in moreish sides of unlimited mac and cheese, triple cooked chips and cauliflower.

Recreate musical moments in history throughout the night before finishing your evening in the nineties with the intriguingly named dessert ‘death by chocolate’ or salted maple cheesecake.

For Dhs395, guests can enjoy unlimited dishes carefully created with musical icons in mind, accompanied by crafted whiskey-based cocktails. The brunch will run on Wednesday May 1 and Thursday May 2 from 7.30pm to 11pm and Friday May 3 from 1pm to 4pm. From June 7, WTF Music Rebels will continue to run at Weslodge on Fridays.
