Remember to stay hydrated…

Following a number of weeks of unpredictable storms and downpours in the UAE this year, it seems summer is now very much on its way.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) revealed that temperatures over the weekend exceeded 40 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country, and we can expect much of the same today, Sunday April 21. Temperatures across Dubai and Abu Dhabi are forecast to reach highs of 41 and 42 degrees Celsius respectively.

However the fickle weather is still tumultuous, with temperatures decreasing again by the end of the week. According to NCM’s weather bulletin, Tuesday will be ‘hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a significant fall in temperatures’. While on Wednesday we can expect partly cloudy skies, with another decrease in temperature.

Some of the more mountainous parts of the UAE such as Ras al Khaimah and Fujairah could even experience more rain this week as a trough of low pressure at upper air levels leads to cloud formation.
