If you didn’t know International Burger Day was a thing, now is the time to get acquainted with it. But as well as some weird and wonderful celebrations happening around the globe, a whole host of Dubai’s best-loved burger joints will be getting in on the action too.

From special offers to limited edition menus, here’s 11 places to get your burger fix on International Burger day in Dubai.

1. Clinton St. Baking Company

To celebrate International Burger Day in Dubai, Clinton St Baking Company is giving away free, yes FREE, burgers on Tuesday May 28. All you have to do is visit their restaurant between 11am and 5pm to claim your free burger. You’ll get to choose between their Clinton Street cheeseburger, green chilli burger, or the veggie burger, and they’ll be given out on a first come, first serve basis. So, head down early to claim yours.

2. UBK

UBK is celebrating International Burger day by offering 25 per cent off their classic beef and chicken burgers, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo and french fries, so you can satisfy your cravings for less. They’ve also just put up their new garden-themed summer tent, meaning you can still sit outside and enjoy their beer garden vibes, even when it gets seriously hot.

3. The Burger and Lobster

This awesome restaurant dedicated to, you guessed it, burgers and lobster meat galore, are giving you 241 on their range of sumptuous burger creations, valid on all except the Beast Burger. Try the Baby Beast Burger instead, topped with lobster meat, brie, truffle & tarragon mayo, fennel and Chinese cabbage with fries. Its rich, it’s naughty and we love it.

4. The Burger Joint

The Burger Joint are offering a seafood version of the classic burger to celebrate International Burger Day. Their lobster patty will come with veal bacon, semi-dried tomato, lemon mayonnaise and a grain mustard dressing and served with a crunchy fennel and apple salad.It’s Dhs85.

5. Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar

The Lamb Merguez Burger, is a special creation for International Burger Day at Bread Street Kitchen. Tt comes with a spicy sausage, crumbled feta, tagine chutney and marinated cucumber and rocket leaves, served in a mint brioche bun with fries.

6. Wavehouse

Think you’ve got a big appetite? Well, you can put that to the test as popular one-stop entertainment venue, Wavehouse will be offering unlimited servings of their signature Rainbow Sliders for Dhs99 on Tuesday May 28. The funky little burgers are served in red, green and yellow buns with a choice of beef, chicken or fish filling.

7. Pickl

Pickl is Dubai’s latest burger joint, recently opened in JLT. Their mantra is ‘simple not basic’, and their well-priced burgers start from Dhs35. If you like it hot, try their flaming Nashville Chicken Sando with pickles and a signature sauce. They also do ice cream burgers (yes, you read that right) in strawberry cheesecake, chocolate and caramel.

8. Common Grounds

Whether you’re vegan or just want to take more of a plant-based approach to eating, head to Common Grounds and tuck into the vegan black bean burger. It comes with smashed avo, chili, pickled ginger root, kale, cucumber, sprouts and sweet potato fries. If you’re being super-healthy, you can order it with a lettuce wrap rather than the bun.

9. Brunswick

Aussie eatery Brunswick boasts an ultimate burger that isn’t for the fainthearted. It’s seriously stacked up, with two patties made of Austalian beef with melted cheese, crunchy lettuce, tomato, red onion and lashings of special burger sauce.

10. Black Tap

Famed in Dubai for their mighty burgers and extravagant freakshakes, Black Tap are running a competition to celebrate International Burger Day on Instagram. 11. Seafire

With a reputation as one of Dubai’s finest steakhouses, Seafire are going all out with their upscale Surf and Turf Burger. For Dhs220, you’ll get Boston lobster and Wagyu beef with caviar mayonnaise, tarragon cheese sauce, smoky veal bacon, white truffle and truffle fries. They’re also celebrating all week from May 28 to June 4 – so you can get your fix for longer.
