1. Check out Dubai’s latest attraction

The much-anticipated Quranic Park is a wonderful cultural new Dubai attraction, and it’s now open to the public. Spanning over of 60-hectares, the park offers visitors a brilliant, intelligent insight into the several areas of the Holy Quran. The park is designed to give a better cultural and educational understanding of Islamic heritage, while still being a fun place to visit for children, families and those looking to learn more about the Quran.

2. Check in for a staycation at a brand new hotel

Studio One hotel in Studio City is offering a great introductory deal to celebrate its opening. Check into a room for Dhs300 per night, and receive Dhs300 back to spend in food and beverages. 3. Play over 500 board games at a new Al Barsha cafe

It’s time to unleash your competitive side as Unwind Cafe, the first speciality board game cafe in Dubai, has arrived. 4. Try out a brand new cafe

Tashas Cafe, located in Dubai Marina Mall, is perfectly located to welcome the hundreds of residents and tourists that stroll along Marina Walk every day. The interior decor follows the natural theme of the Jumeirah and Al Jalila branches, with stunning light fixtures and unassuming wooden furniture. On the menu, you can expect to find a lavish list of breakfast choices, such as brioche French toast, omelettes and mushroom en croute. While the main courses include pulled lamb welsh rarebit, chicken pot pie and beef carpaccio salad.

5. Cool off with a summer pool day

Access to the luxe new Caesars Bluewaters Dubai sprawling pools is a reduced rate of Dhs50 through the week and Dhs75 on weekends for UAE residents this summer. 6. Take to the ice for a game of mini golf

Dubai Ice Rink, located in The Dubai Mall is launching a brand new mini-golf course on the ice, just in time for summer. As if ice skating wasn’t challenging enough! Each game is Dhs40 and you’ll receive a putter and a scorecard. It’s great for family or friends’ days out and it’ll be perfect for any kids’ birthday parties, too. Guaranteed to get some laughs, you can play in teams of up to six people.

7. Meet Wallabies at Green Planet

Visitors to Green Planet, the tropical rainforest housed in a glass dome in City Walk, will now be able to check out a host of new inhabitants at The Australian Walkabout. As well as new turtles, frogs, spiders and lizards, the new additions also include the arrival of wallabies. Found in the largest exhibition in The Australian Walkabout, you’ll be able to get close enough to touch the wallabies as you wander amongst the cave and trees.

8. Try the menu at a new lounge

District is the trendy new lounge in Rixos Premium JBR. It has a mix of high tables, low sofa seating and a raised seating area, those who want to sample dishes from the international food menu can do so in complete comfort. The lounge will be open during the day and night, serving up a new menu of culinary creations every single week.

9. Visit a futuristic new cinema

Novo Cinemas has just opened a new flagship cineplex at IMG World’s of Adventure in Dubai, which features next-generation Laser technology. The complex boasts a 12-screen multiplex including three VIP screens with Novo 7-star service complete with a private lounge, fine dining menu, personal butler.

10. Go kayaking at the Louvre

If you’re into stunning architecture, innovative art and design (and, to be honest, even if you’re not) the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi is a must-see. And now there’s a whole new way to see it, with the launch of kayaking experiences in the waters around the Louvre. Not your average kayak tour, you’ll navigate on the Arabian Seas before heading towards the cultural ‘mini-city’ for a closer look. The kayaking tour requires no prior experience, and you will be accompanied by a professional instructor as you navigate both inside and outside of the spectacular structure.

Hit up a ladies’ night at a water park

Turn away men – this evening is exclusively for the girls. Ladies, grab the girl gang and get down to Laguna Waterpark every Thursday from June 13 where you can hit the slides all night for Dhs125. Running from 7pm to midnight, girls being able to enjoy exclusive access to Laguna Waterpark’s star attractions including the Lazy River, the WaveOz 180 – FlowRider, and the dedicated children’s zone – a great spot to burn of the kiddo’s energy before bed. 12. Feast at a fun new brunch

The London Project is one of the best additions to the brilliant Bluewaters island development, and it’s launched two new weekend brunches perfect for catching up with friends. Guests can enjoy The Shoreditch Brunch every Friday; a sharing-style menu that includes fish and chips, mango and jalapeno glazed chicken and wild mushroom and truffle gnocchi. While Saturdays are dedicated to The Chelsea Brunch; a three-hour serving of breakfast dishes, followed by dishes from the restaurants main menu.

13. Check out an elegant new ladies’ day

Every Monday, ladies can now spend the day at Summersalt and pay Dhs100 for the day. You’ll receive a sun lounger, access to the shower facilities and a cool 25 per cent off food and drinks. You can lounge by the pool or hang out at one of Dubai’s most exclusive beaches, and take advantage of one of the best views of the Burj Al Arab – which can be beat only if you get on a boat. 14. Paint your own creation at a new cafe

Sketch Art Café & Sketch Studio is a cool new space at Mattar bin Lahej Gallery in Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah. The space is split into two; one part studio and one part cafe, and is the brainchild of Emirati artist, Mattar Bin Lahej. At Sketch Studio, you can try your artistic skills at drawing, painting, sculpting, mosaics and even printmaking, while at Sketch Cafe you can illustrate paper coffee cups while you catch up over a refreshing beverage. At the end of the day, 10 to 20 of the most wow-worthy cups will then be selected and put on display on the Coffee Cup Wall of Fame.
