The official start date of Eid Al Fitr has been declared…

Ramadan comes to an end tonight as the first glimpse of the new moon is sighted in the UAE’s skies.

The UAE’s moon sighting committee held a meeting after maghrib prayers this evening at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.

Sharia courts all over the country were also been called on to look out for the crescent moon and inform the committee of any sightings.

Since the crescent moon was spotted this evening, Eid Al Fitr begins tomorrow, Tuesday June 4.
