There’s not long to wait…
While Dubai’s alfresco season doesn’t typically kick in until September, two of the city’s hottest outdoor venues are set to turn up the heat just before the city cools down, opening their doors later this month.
The oh-so-Instagrammable Drift Beach Dubai will reopen its doors after a short summer hiatus on Friday August 23. Found on the beachfront of the One&Only Royal Mirage, it’s become one of Dubai residents go-to spots for a blissful day by the beach, or delicious lunch in the Mediterranean restaurant.
From opening until the end of September, entry to the beach club will be priced at Dhs200 through the week and weekends, while their Ladies Who Drift ladies’ day will grant discounted entry to ladies every Monday and Tuesday. For Dhs100, ladies can enjoy pool and beach access, a glass of rose, water and a fruit platter.
While the restaurant will open from 12.30pm to 5,30pm daily, the sunset lounge will open on Fridays and Saturdays only, providing the perfect setting for sundowners from 1pm until late.
Plus, Drift will also be welcoming the return of it’s hugely popular SUP Fit classes, which will return on September 18 and run every Wednesday and Saturday at 8am and 9am for 40 minutes
Hot on the heels of Drift Beach, the beach club at Nikki Beach will be throwing open its doors a week later on Friday August 30.
The world-renowned beach club on Pearl Jumeira will kick things off with a glamourous opening party, ‘La Piscine’, a tribute to classic Cote D’Azur style food and drinks on the Friday, and open daily from 11am thereafter.
Saturday brunch fans will also be pleased to hear that their Rose Saturdays brunch will return on Saturday August 31, with packages priced from Dhs265.
