Sponsored: There’s no chance of rain, and every chance of a great weekend…

If summer to you means relaxing at a festival, with a drink in hand, tucking into a great British roast, then you need to be at The Scene this weekend. The popular Pier 7 hotspot is launching a Summer Festival on Thursday August 8.

With plenty of drinks offers, and some delicious dishes on offer, there’s no better place to be. Get craft beers and ciders, rose and spritzers all from Dhs35 and The Scene’s homemade gin infusions from Dhs45.

The Scene by Simon Rimmer also recently added a few tempting dishes to its menu, including Hank Marvin mussels, wild mushroom gnocchi and Rimmers roast (which is available daily over Eid). Get your roast fix from Friday August 9 to Tuesday August 13 for just Dhs125.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as the Summer Festival has something for everyone. The whole family will enjoy the activities and entertainment, including a face painter and a balloonist to keep everyone in the summer spirit.

Relax in the knowledge that the little ones are entertained, while you enjoy the sounds of The Scene’s much-loved resident DJ. Pick a seat overlooking the unbeatable views of Dubai Marina to knock all of your previous Summer Festivals out of the water.

Come September, make sure you’re at The Scene to catch the Rugby World Cup. The Scene’s Home of Nations will run throughout the tournament so you’ll need to be there if you don’t want to miss any of the action.

The Scene by Simon Rimmer, Pier 7, Dubai Marina, daily 8am to 2am. Tel: (04) 422 2328. thescenedubai.com
