Another exciting new concept is set to open its doors in DIFC…

It’s known as one of Cannes most famous hotspots for drinking, dining and partying, and now Baoli is set to open its doors in Dubai.

According to the DIFC register, Baoli Dubai will be located on the ninth floor in the new Gate Village 11.

The venue was originally tipped to open in April 2019 according to local reports, but it’s now likely to open its doors sometime later in 2019, when Gate Village 11 opens.

Baoli Cannes is one of the French Riviera’s most famous hangouts, having welcomed stars such as Jay Z and Eva Mendes. In Cannes, it’s split into a upscale restaurant serving ‘Mediterrasian’ cuisine, club and rooftop bar, so we’re hoping for something similar when the Dubai outpost opens later this year.

While we don’t yet have any images of Baoli Dubai, if the venue in Cannes is anything to go by, we can expect plenty of over the top decor, lavish interiors and sultry lighting.

The Cannes venue has also seen live performances from the likes of Bedouin and Black Coffee, so we hope they also bring some top stars to Dubai upon opening.

Baoli will open in Gate Village 11 alongside already announced concepts including Indochine, which arrives in Dubai by way of New York, Amazonico, which hails from Madrid, and a new high-end Chinese restaurant brought to the region by Bulldozer group (who operate restaurants such as Gaia and Cipriani).

DIFC has already seen the arrival of a host of new restaurants in 2019, including Italian restaurant Marea and upscale Caribbean experience, Ciboney’s.

We’re seriously getting spoiled for choice…
