Here’s something else to add to your calendar this Eid Al Adha long weekend…

Eid Al Adha is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for things to do during the five-day weekend, here’s one bit of news we’re sure the shopaholics are going to love.

A select number of malls in Dubai will be extending their opening hours during the Eid Al Adha holidays. This means you have more time to bag that bargain, grab a bite to eat and spend quality time with your family or friends (and up the number of steps on your pedometer, of course).

The Dubai Mall will remain open until 2am from Thursday, August 8 until Saturday, August 17, 2019.

If you happen to be in the mall from Sunday, August 11 to Wednesday, August 14, keep an eye open for wise grandfatherly figure, Sheibitna, who will be telling tales and providing special words of wisdom.

The Dubai Mall is also home to Kidzania, one of the most popular indoor edutainment attractions for children in Dubai, also has extended hours during the Eid Al Adha long weekend from Friday, August 9 to Friday, August 16. The attraction will open from 10am and will close at midnight, but do note, last entry is at 11pm.

If a movie is more to your fancy, Reel Cinema at Dubai Mall will also remain open for 24 hours for two days during Eid Al Adha holidays on Sunday, August 11 to Monday, August 12. Head back to whatson.ae to catch what blockbusters will be releasing during the Eid Al Adha long weekend.

Ibn Battuta Mall will also have extended mall hours during Eid Al Adha with retailers remaining open until midnight and food and beverage outlets remaining open until 1am.

The mall is also hosting a range of family entertainment and live shows for your enjoyment from Friday, August 9 to Saturday, August 17. Expect to see live stage shows, roaming entertainment and kids’ activity zone with non-stop fun with their favourite Looney Tunes characters and much more.

If you love fireworks, Dubai Festival City Mall is the place to be this Eid Al Adha, as that’s the only location you’re going to be able to see them. The mall’s extended hours for retail run until midnight and 1am for all food and beverage outlets. This means if you’re here on Sunday, August 11 and Monday, August 12, you’ll still have enough time to do some shopping and have dinner after the dazzling fireworks and water, lights and laser show by IMAGINE.

Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif and other Majid Al Futtaim malls will also stay open until 1am.
