These ‘underdogs’ are hoping to find their fur-ever home…

With so many dogs looking for a new home in Dubai, many of those who require extra care get overlooked and left behind. This Friday, October 25, Fetch Dubai is hosting an adoption day specifically dedicated to elderly or disabled pups.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting a new best friend, and would love to help change the life of an animal, the adoption morning will run from 10am to 12pm this Friday. Taking place at Fetch, the daycare centre and groomers based in Al Quoz, the team will be on-hand to answer any and all adoption-related questions.

The ‘howl-ween’ themed event will also have plenty of fun activities for adults and children, including costume competitions, kids’ games and barbecue. For every adopted dog, the new parents will receive five free dog walks, one free daycare session and a settling-in consultation.

The event is open to everyone, whether you’re looking to adopt or just support the cause. The dogs in question have come from all different walks of life, some might have been abandoned by owners, while others have been saved from the streets.

You might find some of the dogs have had to have limbs amputated, or some might have been born with a defect. Either way, all of the dogs deserve a safe home and loving owners, who are willing to dedicate a little extra care to the special animals.

Adoption fees will vary based on the animal, and the rescue centre. It’s imperative that the new owner is aware of the responsibility they are taking on to avoid the dogs having to go back to the shelter.

Your new best friend awaits you…
