The Masterchef judge is the mastermind behind healthy Dubai cafe Omnia Gourmet…
Nassau is the new Mediterranean restaurant set to open in Jumeirah Golf Estates on Wednesday November 27. The concept is the brain child of celebrity chef and Masterchef Bulgaria judge, Silvena Rowe, who also owns sugar, dairy and gluten-free cafe, Omnia Gourmet.
The new restaurant will have a focus on locally sourced Mediterranean food, drawing inspiration from Chef Silvena’s European-Arabian heritage. Many of the dishes on the menu will be sugar and gluten-free, offering a guilt-free dining solution to Dubai’s foodies.
Starters will include black truffle labneh with seasoned baby vegetables, ottoman style wagyu beef skewers and celeriac & lentil salad with hazelnuts and za’atar. While main courses offer 48-hour slow cooked shoulder of lamb, seared sea bass fillet with tomato-chilli pickle, wagyu bolognese conchiglioni, and roasted aubergine & sautéed kale lasagne.

You’ll find the elegantly-designed restaurant at the country club of Jumeirah Golf Estates, where the chic botanical interiors aim to transport you to a distinctly Mediterranean scene. The eatery also offers a wraparound outdoor terrace, for guests to enjoy alfresco dining during the winter months.
Chef Silvena Rowe said: “It has been a joy to work with the team at Jumeirah Golf Estates on this new concept and to create a restaurant that blends the simple flavours of the Mediterranean with the vibrant influences of the Middle East and beyond.”
Silvena has put a big focus on quality and sustainability through her products, expressing on her Instagram: “We have sourced the most beautiful and delicious sustainably grown meat products, our fish is wild tuna, organic salmon and the steak is the best quality wagyu and kobe of the highest grade all the way from Hokkaido – the real thing!”
