Brunch & Cake originated in Barcelona, where people queue hours to bag a seat…

Calling all foodies and Instagrammers alike, get your cameras at the ready – there’s a new Insta-worthy cafe in town.

Barcelona’s much-loved cafe, Brunch & Cake, has just opened the doors to a new branch here in Dubai and we can’t wait to check it out.

The new cafe resides in Al Wasl and with a tagline of ‘in Grandma we trust’, it promises wholesome dishes that contain healthy, simple ingredients, with some fabulous sweet treats, delicious pastries and fresh bread.

Nutritious though they may be, Brunch & Cake’s dishes are anything but boring, with bright colours and food presentations that resemble works of art – we reckon you’re literally going to want to take a picture of everything.

The original cult cafe boasts 89k followers on its Instagram and is so popular in the Spanish city that there are often queues out of the door for more than an hour to bag a seat at the coveted-spot.

The interior of Brunch & Cake Dubai is Insta-worthy even by itself, with a botanic-chic vibe inside and a beautiful outdoor terrace, making it the perfect place to while away a weekend (or any day of the week) during the cooler months.

Menu options include some mouthwatering dishes like chili scrambled eggs with avo-feta smash, corn and halloumi pancakes and caramelized red peppers. For that wow-worthy Insta snap, order the breakfast board.

For the health-conscious, there’s colourful acai bowls, smoothie bowls antioxidant-packed salads and for those who’re looking to indulge, pancakes, waffles and nice-cream filled donuts will jostle for your attention on the menu.

Bread is baked fresh every day, with traditional recipes from ‘Grandma’, alongside homemade cupcakes, cookies, muffins, cakes and croissants, so you’ll probably be tempted to take a few things home.
