Mina Brasserie

The beautiful terrace at Mina Brasserie is an elegant spot for a breakfast business meeting or chic weekend catch up in DIFC. Breakfast is served daily from 7am to 11am, and as well as a choice of breakfast classics such as egg white omelette, smoked salmon Benedict and eggs Florentine, you can opt for a sweet treat like the French toast, pancakes or waffles. The beautiful terrace at District has officially opened its doors, and it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a weekend breakfast if you’re the JBR side of town. Available on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm, enjoy a main breakfast meal from a choice of dishes like buttermilk pancakes, smoked salmon eggs benedict or granola, alongside a tea or coffee and three mimosas for Dhs149.

McGettigan’s Madinat

Hearty breakfast with a lovely view? Look no further than the Madinat branch of McGettigan’s and enjoy a restorative McGettigan’s Breakfast overlooking the waterways. Available in two sizes (small, Dhs63, and large, Dhs94) this hearty repast includes sausage, bacon, black and white pudding, eggs to your liking, slow-roasted tomato, mushroom, hash brown, baked beans and toast, all washed down with a tea or coffee.

Reform

Looking for a proper taste of home? Head to Lakes gastropub, Reform, for their ‘Breakfast of Champions’. Priced at Dhs118, it’s a super-sized serving of all the best parts of a fry-up, with your choice of eggs. The Breakfast of Champions is only served up on weekends, but there’s a weekday breakfast menu featuring a full English for Dhs75. Perch up at an alfresco table overlooking The Orchard and enjoy.

The Scene by Simon Rimmer

Popular British eatery The Scene by Simon Rimmer not only serves up some top Marina views, it’s also home to a great daily breakfast menu. You’ll find lighter dishes such as granola or banana bread, or opt for something heartier, such as short rib eggs benedict or eggs florentine

The Farm

Inside Al Barari, the botanic residential community on the outskirts of Dubai, you’ll find healthy eating restaurant, The Farm. A leafy, tranquil oasis, we recommend you book ahead early on weekends, as this place quickly packs out with breakfasters. Keep it healthy with an omelette or eggs benedict, or treat yourself to their signature fluffy waffles.

Walnut Grove, The Dubai Mall

Walnut Grove now has a second branch at The Dubai Mall which comes complete with prime Dubai Fountain views. The South African concept first landed in Dubai in 2016 with a City Walk location, and serves a menu of cosy cafe favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be sure to grab a table on the expansive terrace – it’s one of the best for those brilliant Downtown views.

Stoke House

Featuring a casual dining area, bar, terrace and pool area, Stoke House is an all-day eatery located at the clubhouse at Damac Hills estate. Overlooking the lush golf course, the venue opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. On the breakfast menu, expect traditional dishes that are a mix of healthy and indulgent such as eggs benedict, French toast, a goats cheese omelette and pancakes. It’s served until midday in the week, and until 2pm on weekends.

Single Fin

Refuel after a morning on the sand at this laidback café, that’s part of Surf House Dubai. Sit outside in the courtyard surrounded by surfboards, and folks in flip flops, and you’ll feel transported to Bondi. Light and bright highlights include the Mavericks organic acai bowl (Dhs42), topped with housemade granola and fans of fruit. Order it with a scoop of homemade peanut butter for an extra protein hit.
