Sponsored: From Latin American dancers to Mariachi bands and a Dia De Los Muertos parade…

If you’re looking for a family-friendly Halloween celebration, head to The Pointe’s Dia De Los Muertos festivities this weekend.

Nakheel’s newest destinations will be celebrating the Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos ,(which translates to Day of the Dead) from Thursday October 31 to Saturday November 2, 2019, complete with Latin American dancers and music, Mariachi bands, parades and more.

On Thursday October 31 and Friday November 1, head to the Central stage where starting at 6pm, there are musical performances and dance shows.

There are competitions for the best dressed guests with cool prizes up for grabs such as smartphones, dinner vouchers and more – so don’t forget to come dressed up.

On the same dates, at the West stage and East stage (located on the either ends of The Pointe) you will find Mariachi bands, Latin dance shows, the Dia De Los Muertos parade and more from 8pm onwards.

If you want to continue your Mexican experience, you can head on to Meshico, where an after-party will take place filled with flavourful Mexican refreshments and cuisine.

Selected bars at The Pointe will also be offering free Trick or Treat shots.

On Saturday November 2, the musical shows and performances continue at The Pointe, and at night there will be a screening of Fantastic Beasts – The crimes of Grindelwald – a movie the whole family can enjoy.

Throughout the three days, you can find activities such as mask and face painting stands, plus market stalls by Mexican artists.

For art lovers, apart from being wowed by the cool Dia De Los Muertos costumes and decor, there are several art installations available at the location for you to check out.

Feliz Dia de los Muertos!
