The new restaurants include a Turkish steakhouse, all-day buffet style dining and a relaxed pan-Asian offering…

With its prime position in the Dubai Marina area, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort is a must-visit for any Dubai resident or holiday maker, with stunning views out over the blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and right over to the Palm Jumeirah.

The luxury hotel have a number of popular bar and restaurant offerings under their roof, but they’ve recently decided to shake things up with not one but three new restaurant offerings.

So whether you’re after premium cuts of meat, all-day buffet style dining or relaxed pan-Asian eats, they’re all now cooking up a storm at The Westin Mina Seyahi.

Mina’s Kitchen

Mina’s Kitchen has taken over from Blue Orange and it’s hard not to be wowed by its new eclectic design; from black and white checkered flooring, to brightly-coloured leather seating paired with bass and brick furnishings. As you walk into the huge space (and we mean huge) you’ll be greeted by endless stations of every food you can imagine. The restaurant’s concept is casual buffet-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but this is no run-of-the-mill buffet. From freshly baked bread to dainty pastries, delicious pizzas to belly-warming pasta and different cuisine from all over the world, you’ll never have to decide what you’re in the mood for. While the restaurant is just as cavernous as the buffet space, it’s broken up with extensive leafy, botanical decor, which takes you on a transition from the inside of the restaurant out through to the stunning terrace, if you’re in the mood for a spot of alfresco dining.

Sui Mui

Pan-Asian cuisine has firmly established itself on Dubai’s dining scene. Taking the spot formerly occupied by Spice Emporium, Sui Mui is The The Westin’s brand new Asian dining offering. Promising a casual dining experience, the menu takes you on a journey through Thailand, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and China – so whether you’re a fan of tender chicken satay loaded up with a chunky peanut sauce or are more partial to mini mouthfuls of dim sum, your every Asian cuisine craving will be met.  A must-try is the grazing table, with chef’s selected tapas for you to try.  The decor includes an impressive dragon mural around the open kitchen, plush velvet seating and bamboo features, providing a relaxed setting for a friendly dinner.

BABA

No hotel would be complete without a steakhouse and BABA is the new Turkish restaurant that now occupies the space formerly held by Hunters Room & Grill. One for the carnivores, meat unsurprisingly features heavily on the menu, from Australian Wagyu marble steak to the black onyx 3-4 marble, 270 days grain fed. For those who like to go a bit lighter on their plate, you can graze on mezze and fresh salads or kebab skewers loaded with tender meat and fresh vegetables from the open kitchen. The wine selection is plentiful, with full bodied reds to pair with the meatier options or crisp and delicate whites to compliment seafood and chicken dishes.
