It might only be Sunday, but if you’re already planning for the weekend, listen up, as not one but two American rappers are headed to the city. Both Wiz Khalifa and Rick Ross are touching down in Dubai to perform at some of the city’s biggest and best super clubs.
Here’s where you’ll find them this weekend…
Wiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa is the superstar American rapper, songwriter and producer responsible for some massive hits like Black and Yellow and the Furious 7 track See You Again, which topped the Billboard Top 100 for 12 consecutive weeks back in 2015. He’s performing at two Dubai clubs this weekend, so you’ll have two opportunities to see him take the stage.
Thursday October 17: White Dubai
Thursday, October 17 will see Wiz Khalifa take to the stage at White Dubai as part of their brand new UNDRGROUND night, which is inspired by London’s streets and music influences. It’s not the rappers first appearance at the club, having frequented it as both a guest and a performer numerous times previously. He even filmed part of his Laugh Now, Fly Later music video there. Thursday night just so happens to be ladies’ night, with free entry for the girls and complimentary drinks until 12am. Guys can buy their tickets on the door for Dhs300.

Friday October 18: Drai’s Dubai
Wiz Khalifa will perform on the infamous catwalk stage at Drai’s on Friday October 18 so if you couldn’t make it to White the night before, then make sure you get to neighbouring super club, Drai’s. Drai’s are also doing a ladies’ night deal, with complimentary entry and drinks for the girls until 1am. For gents it’ll be Dhs200 for entry and that includes two drinks. One of the most well-known names in the rap industry, American rap heavyweight Rick Ross has enjoyed massive success throughout the years, with two chart-topping albums; Port of Miami in 2006 and Trilla in 2008. He’s now a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and record executive.
Friday October 18: Base Dubai
Rick Ross will be raising the non-existent roof at Base Dubai on Friday October 18. Another one for the ladies, there’ll be free entry and complimentary drinks from when the doors open at 11pm until 1am. The party will keep going until 4am so get your dancing shoes ready…
