Entry is Dhs50, fully redeemable on food and drinks…

Dubai’s weather has finally got cooler and that means that all of our favourite open-air cinemas are up and running once again. Yay.

If you’re a fan of smash-hit movie A Star Is Born, bookmark Sunday, October 13 in your diary as Zero Gravity’s Cinema in the Sand is back with a bang and will be showing the hugely popular film at their season reopening.

Viewing will start at 8pm and entry is Dhs50, which is entirely redeemable on food and drink, and includes delicious sharing favourites like nachos, popcorn chicken and chilli cheese fries.

There’s no need to book but it’s advised that you get down there early to bag one of the cushy bean bags, sun-loungers or a directors chair. There will even be blankets on hand if it gets a little chilly.

The wildly-popular romantic musical stars Hollywood heartthrob Bradley Cooper, playing famous country rock singer, Jackson Maine, who falls in love with aspiring singer Ally, played by quirky superstar songstress, Lady Gaga.

The film follows the ups and downs of their relationship as Jackson struggles with some difficult personal issues and Ally’s stardom starts to climb as she finds huge success as a singer.

You’ll get to sing along to all of your favourite songs from the film, so get ready to belt your heart out to Shallow, Always Remember Us This Way and, if you can manage it, the emotional ballad I’ll Never Love Again.

Cinema on the Sand will run bi-weekly and is the perfect chilled evening for a catch up with the bestie or a romantic date night under the stars.
