Got a sweet tooth that you just can’t deny? Well listen up, as there’s free ice cream coming your way this November in celebration of Expo 2020.

Taking to Twitter, organisers announced that a specially-designed Expo 2020 ice cream truck will be visiting all seven Emirates of the UAE in the next few weeks, giving out over 40,000 free ice creams.

The news was announced on the official Expo 2020 Twitter account, with the reasoning cited as their way of connecting with the people of the UAE ahead of the much-anticipated exhibition in October 2020.

How can you get your hands on a free ice cream, we hear you ask? Updates on the van’s movements and planned locations will be posted to the Expo 2020 Twitter page, so keep your eyes peeled.

With just under a year to go until Expo 2020 Dubai, there’s been lots of exciting things happening across the UAE, including a free concert in Burj Park last month that was headlined by Mariah Carey.

Expo 2020 will run from October 20, 2020 to April 2020, with no less than 192 countries set to go on display at their uniquely designed pavilions. Tickets are priced from Dhs120 per day.
