You can track their journey across the world before they arrive in-store by Thursday, November 21…

Christmas is only 49 days away, and if you’re already thinking about trimming the tree, here’s something to get excited about.

2,120 real fir Christmas trees are currently on their way to Dubai, all the way from a farm in Denmark. And they’re set to arrive at Spinneys supermarkets across the UAE on Thursday, November 21.

Three of the trees have been fitted with trackers, so you can trace their journey across the world to the UAE, on spinneys-dubai.com. With 15 days to go, a glance to their journey progress shows they’re currently in France.

Five different sizes of the Nordmann firs will be available for you to buy in Spinneys across the UAE, with prices starting from Dhs195.

The lucky purchasers of the three tracked trees will win Dhs2,000 to spend in Spinneys stores. So why not treat yourself to a set of brand new decorations or stock up on food for your Christmas dinner?

These traditional trees come from a third-generation farm in Denmark, who have been supplying the UAE supermarket for several years. The farm now plants over 30,000 saplings annually, 2,000 of which are handpicked to export to the UAE.

Their journey started at The Port of Aarhus in the North Sea, and from there they’ll journey through Portugal, the Mediterranean Sea, the Suez Canal and the Red Sea before finally arriving at the UAE port of Jebel Ali.

Get out the festive snacks, Christmas tunes and call your friends round for a tree-decorating party.
