Doctor Sleep

Not for the fainthearted, this movie follows Dan Torrance, who is struggling with substance abuse and is haunted by his past and the sinister events that took place at the Overlook hotel where he lived as a child. He then happens across a young teenager named Abra, who shares his unusual gift of ‘the shine’. The duo join forces to fight against the ‘True Knot”, a cult whose members attempt to feed off the shine of innocents to make themselves immortal.

Midway

A WW11 story, this film focuses on the Battle of Midway, a clash between the American fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy and is based on the real life stories of the leaders and sailors that lived and fought it. The battle marked an important turning point in the Pacific Theater during the Second World War.

Playing with Fire

In this endearing comedy, watch as three brawny firefighters end up looking after three children they rescued from a fire until their parents collect them. Tabaluga: The Last Dragon

One for the little ones, watch as the Ice Princess Lilli and Tabaluga, a little green dragon unite to fight against an an evil source. While doing this, they free Iceland and find the strength to ignite Tabaluga, the last dragon’s, fire. The film follows the successful children’s TV series.

Charlie’s Angels (Ladies only screening)

This remake of the classic Charlie’s Angels has been eagerly anticipated (especially by 90’s girls who grew up with Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Dew Barrymore as the leading protagonists). Twilight star Kristen Stewart stars alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Naomi Scott as they battle to save the world from newly-released and very dangerous technology.
