Because let’s be honest, we all love a bit of celebrity goss…

Dubai is quickly becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.

With so many A-listers (and B-, C- and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, we bring you a weekly round up of who was spotted where.

So if you were wondering who to keep an eye out for when you’re down at Dubai Mall, we’ve thrown together a list of some of the famous faces in Dubai and the UAE this week…

Ronaldinho

The Brazilian football legend was back in Dubai this week, after launching the Ronaldinho Soccer Academy at the Koora Dome in October. The former Barcelona star took this classy snap with the Burj Al Arab at the Al Naseem Hotel.

Akon

It gives us warm fuzzies when we see celebrity mates. The Smack That rapper was in town to help Ronaldinho announce the expansion of his football academy, and the pair shared this sweet snap together.

Mr. Kuro

The 25-year-old YouTuber and influencer jetted into Dubai from France this week, posing for an arty snap with the silver surfers in Dubai Mall. It makes a refreshing change from his usual canine photographic companions – check out the dude’s Instagram account, this is a man who knows how to pose with a pup.

Aimee Sayah

The Lebanese actress and host of The Voice shared this stylish snap of a “comfy day” in Dubai, with the Burj Al Arab providing an impressive backdrop. Our “comfy day” clothes are more likely to be covered in chocolate stains and biscuit crumbs than Adidas logos, but maybe that’s just us…

Eric Lanlard

The French celebrity chef brought his sweet treats to town this week as part of the Taste of Dubai festival. The baking extraordinaire had only good things to say about his time in the city, describing Dubai’s food scene as “incredible”. Aw, shucks.

Jay Gardner

Another celeb, another Burj shot for the ‘Gram. The Geordie Shore OG appears to be taking a nice little holiday in our patch of the world, taking plane rides over the Palm, and chilling in the pool.

William Shatner

No photo from the Star Trek icon unfortunately, but in this case, one tweet is worth a thousand… erm… pictures. The 85-year-old actor was filming the new TV mini-series The Indian Detective in Cape Town this week, but apparently beamed through the UAE on his way home.
