Sky2.0 is brought to d3 from the same people behind the legendary Lebanese nightlife venue, Sky Bar…

Lebanon’s iconic Skybar is set to open its doors in Dubai Design District on Wednesday March 13.

The famous outdoor Beirut nightclub will be called Sky 2.0 in Dubai, and will open its doors every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from next weekend.

Each night will have a dedicated theme: Wednesdays will kick off with reggae-inspired ‘Oh Na Na’, Thursday will be their signature night, while their Friday party will be ‘Boom Box’.

Although we don’t have images of the sleek new venue yet, its Lebanese counterpart can house up to 2,500 guests, so we’re expecting a similar super-sized venue when Sky2.0 throws open its doors.

Opening from 9pm each evening, the club will serve as both a restaurant and lounge, as well as a late-night club.

Skybar Beirut first opened in 2003 as one of the regions first outdoor restaurant-club, and became the Lebanese capital’s go-to party spot.  It moved in 2007 to the rooftop of Beil in 2009 the same year it was ranked among the world’s best bars. The nightspot was forced to close after a fire in 2015, reopening its doors in 2017.
