NAY
The financial bods of DIFC have a new place to chow down

Nay Restaurant and Lounge will serve up classic Lebanese food for lunch and dinner, but with a contemporary twist. Run by a Lebanese chef, Nay aims to “transform the preconceived perception of Lebanese food”.

The décor of the flamboyant 150-cover restaurant is welcoming and lush with plenty of velvet and leather in rich, warm colours as well as cushions, all of which gives an Arabic vibe. Nay also boasts its Sky Nay terrace and a shisha area. Nay plans to keep diners entertained with live singers and music acts throughout the evening.

The word ‘nay’ is an Arabic word for a musical instrument similar to a flute that first appeared more than 5,000 years ago.

Nay will open its doors for a soft opening in mid February, but will welcome diners officially in March. What’s On will be among the first to eat there and we’ll let you know whether the food gets a yay or a nay.
