The Detox Wrap at SensAsia Urban Spa
If you’re too busy or too lazy to work out those pesky toxins in the gym, then perhaps a trip to the spa for 100 minutes will suit you better. SensAsia Urban Spa offers a special treatment simply called ‘The Detox’ – a de-bloating and detoxifying treatment featuring a combination of wraps complete with active ingredients to promote lymphatic drainage, which aids in the elimination of toxins.

Does it work? Aside from all the complicated scientific stuff that’s happening, it’s certainly a relaxing experience. Not only did we feel emptier and lighter at the end of the treatment, we left feeling utterly relaxed.

Ashtanga Yoga at The Surf House Dubai
Sitting in a warm room and twisting your body into pretzel shapes is really good for you – so say the people at the gorgeous new Surf House Dubai. They offer Ashtanga Yoga sessions every Sunday and Tuesday. Starting out with light stretches and breathing exercises, the instructor Laura Farrier aims to work the stress and toxins out of your body without you even noticing it. The class works your body over a full range of motion, twisting and turning it in a way that’s meant to break down toxin buildup.

Does it work?
It certainly gives you a great core workout without doing hundreds of crunches, and afterwards you should feel completely regenerated. Not bad for Dhs70.
