Dubai’s most fashionable will be clamouring for their spots on the front row as Fashion Week Middle East is set to debut from October 1 to October 4.

The catwalk, set in DIFC, will welcome a host of regional, and more excitingly international designers to showcase their collections.

Style website savoirflair.com reported that the big names to feature this season will include top designers Betsey Johnson and Charlotte Ronson (shows from both can be watched below), with only 30 per cent of the overall designers being asked to participate being regional talent.

Organised by English Strickland & Associates, Fashion Week Middle East will also partner with New York and Los Angeles Fashion Week in an exchange program, which will see two designers showing at either Fashion Week come to our shores.

Speaking on behalf of Fashion Week Middle East, Stephanie English Strickland, has commented: “The only way it’s going to work for regional designers is if they are legitimized abroad. This is not just about having a show here.”

With Fashion Forward running from October 4 to 6, we can’t help but feel a little bit excited to see the two fashion heavyweights go head-to-head.
