If you’re feeling nostalgic for the decade that gave us flannel shirts, dungarees and vast quantities of hair gel, then the lineup for MiXTAPE Rewind will have you shining up your Doc Martens.

Nineties popstars 5ive, B*witched and Peter Andre are all set to take to the stage at Emirates Golf Club on November 21, along with DJ Tim Cheddar, for a setlist worthy of a school disco.

Andre, who has in the past been best known for his tabloid antics and previous marriage to model Katie Price than his singing career, first burst onto the scene in 1995 with the reggae-tastic pop tune Mysterious Girl. The singer will be performing in Dubai fresh from his UK tour to mark the release of Big Night, his first album in two years.

5ive, meanwhile, are no strangers to the headlines themselves. Nineties heartthrobs Scott, Abs, Rich and Sean have dealt with plenty of controversy over the years, including the exit of former band member J. Nevertheless, all four look ready to belt out hits like Got The Feelin’, Keep On Movin’ and Slam Dunk Da Funk to a nostalgic crowd.

It won’t be the first time they’ve shared the limelight with Irish girlband B*witched, either. During the first season of ITV2’s reality show The Big Reunion, the boy band and the denim-clad divas best known for hit single C’est La Vie were brought together for a poptastic tour, along with other 90s acts including Blue, Atomic Kitten, 911 and The Honeyz.

In addition to the live acts, DJ Tim Cheddar will be on the decks to continue whipping the crowd into a retro frenzy well into the early hours.

Previous line-ups for the MiXTAPE event have included 70s singers BoneyM, 90s dance group the Vengaboys and Snap! who are best known for their ultra-catchy hit song Rhythm is a Dancer.
