Beyond the perimeters of Dubai Miracle Garden lies a new oasis home to a kaleidoscope of fluttering creatures.

Open throughout summer, the Dubai Butterfly Garden is a wonderland where visitors can get up close to some of the most beautiful butterflies from around the world.

Three white domes interlinked by narrow corridors house more than 18,000 winged insects imported from The Philippines, Costa Rica, Colombia and Tanzania. Each dome is decorated with colourful flower displays and is cool enough to give the butterflies – and visitors – a pleasant place to roam.

Elsewhere, a dedicated museum showcases an eccentric collection of butterfly motifs, including an enormous picture of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum formed completely out of butterflies. There’s also an outdoor butterfly flower park and a quirky café at the entrance.
