Learn how to make lattes
Want to make one of those fancy coffees you get in cafes, at home? The Marriott’s Fifth Street Café is now hosting latte masterclasses. Students will learn how to create patterns and designs on the top of a cup of Joe. Pastries and coffees are included in the price and you’ll leave with a t-shirt and a certificate showing off your newfound barista skills. Classes must be booked in advance.

Ladies night at Yas Waterworld
In honour of Emirati Women’s Day, check out the special celebrations on offer at the water park’s weekly Ladies Night. Illuminaire, Fire and Light Spectacular

Arabic Comedy Night
Regional breakout comedian Badr Saleh will be headlining this joke fest. The Saudi Arabian You Tube video star, whose channel “Eysh Elly” (translated as ‘What is’ in Arabic) sees Saleh comment on funny videos and joke around. Other acts include Redwan Al Reemi, Osama Salmeen and Shakir Al Sharif.

Eat gluten free Italian food
Italian restaurant Villa Toscana is now offering a ‘Senza Glutine’ or gluten-free menu for coeliac-conscious guests. Dishes on the a la carte menu include seafood and lemon risotto, fusilli pasta with porcini mushrooms and castelmagno cheese, potato gnocchi with basil pesto and vanilla panna cotta.
