What’s On has details about the new motorsport activities available at Al Forsan Sports Resort in Khalifa City.

Great news for those who love off roading: the Al Forsan International Sports Resort has just started offering two new motorsport activities.

Adrenaline junkies can now go off-roading in a choice of one of three vehicles on a purpose built dirt track, which features fourteen turns. Beginners will be given the 24 horsepower Rage buggy for their laps, with intermediate drivers being able to advance to the 101 horsepower Can Am Maverick 1000R. And for the real speed freaks, there is a 140 horsepowered Rage on offer.

All off-roaders will be able to test out the track with a couple of practice laps before really putting the pedal down. For added safety, all drivers will be strapped into a four-point harness as well as be protected by a steel roll cage. Prices for the new experience start from Dhs220.

For those looking for a less messy track, sans dirt, check out the “extreme” karting options now available. Featuring 13 and 18 horsepower Le Mans Karts, sessions start from Dhs180 and will see guests race around the resort’s karting circuit.
