The Illusionists are returning to Abu Dhabi after a sell-out tour in the UAE last year – this time with a new cast, new tricks, and new wow factor thanks to intense pyrotechnics, a heart-stomping soundtrack, and a truckload of impossible-looking acts. Starring The Alchemist, The Eccentric, The Showman, The Escapist, The Clairvoyants, The Conjuress and The Charlatan, The Illusionists 1903 promises to transport audiences back to a time when conjurers were the real rock stars. Puccini’s famous opera tells the story of Cio-Cio San, or Butterfly, a Japanese lady who marries an American naval officer in 1904.The performance features soprano Monica De Rosa McKay in the title role, tenor Gian Luca Pasolini as officer BF Pinkerton and Agata Bienkowska as Suzuki, Butterfly’s friend.
